המוסיקה של מקהלת הנוער הירושלמית
מוסיקלית, מקהלת הנוער הירושלמית מחפשת לשקף את הערכים של שוויון והכלה שעליהם אנחנו מתבססים, ולהגשים את היופי שבמגוון . כיוון שהמשתתפים שלנו באים ממגוון מסורות מוסיקליות, אנחנו לוקחים השראה ממוזיקה מזרחית ומערבית ברפרטואר שלנו והסגנון המוזיקלי שלנו. אנחנו משתמשים בשילוב של המאוולים של המוזיקה הערבית (אלתור מוזיקלי), יחד עם הרמוניות קלאסיות, בשילוב מקצבים ערביים בכל דבר ממוסיקה קלה, פופ, קורלים, ושילוב של מילים בעברית ערבית ואנגלית, ושפות נוספות, בכל רחבי העולם. בשל כך, אנחנו מחפשים לחדש ולאתגר את הגבולות המוסיקליים ולא מוסיקליים של התכנית, על מנת לחוות את הצליל הייחודי שלנו, אתם מוזמנים להאזין לנו בלינקים שבתחתית!
נכתב על ידי הזמרים שלנו אחרי ה7 באוקטובר, השיר העוצמתי הדהד נרחבות, והגיע למאות אלפים: בטקס הזיכרון הישראלי פלסטיני המשותף, אל במת TED, ולאוזניהם של בכירי מחיליטי ההחלטות של וושינגטון די סי. האזינו והצטרפו אלינו בבחירת דרך אחרת.

We had the great pleasure and privilege to perform with the Al Bustan Takht Ensemble at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, PA during our 2015 US Tour. This traditional Arabic song, Nassam Aleina el Hawa, expresses a longing for home that we felt all the more keenly accompanied by their brilliant classical Arabic musicianship.

On our 2014 tour to Japan, we learned “Hana Wa Saku,” a beautiful song meaning “flowers will bloom” written after the 2011 Tsunami about overcoming loss and moving forward together with love. We had the opportunity to perform Hana Wa Saku in the Kyoto Concert Hall with a Japanese youth symphony orchestra and Japanese choirs of many ages. Enjoy!
