Our 30 returning singers have been joined by\u00a020 new voices\u00a0<\/strong>from\u00a0across East and West Jerusalem. Our\u00a0rehearsal room is once again alive with discovery\u2014tentative first notes, bursts of laughter, and the moment when voices begin to blend across languages and backgrounds. At a time when fear and separation ruthlessly continue to\u00a0dominate the landscape,\u00a0JYC\u2019s record recruitment and retention speak to something extraordinary: young people choosing connection over division, courage over silence.<\/strong>\u00a0Even in uncertain times, our chorus continues to grow stronger, and our singers continue to show that harmony is not only possible\u2014it\u2019s unstoppable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Coming Soon in 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n As the new year\u00a0approaches, JYC is closing 2025 increasingly stronger. This month, we\u2019ll take our full ensemble of Israeli and Palestinian teenagers on a\u00a0three-day retreat<\/strong>\u00a0filled with team-building, music rehearsals, and dialogue sessions designed for\u00a0new and returning singers alike to deepen their bonds and build trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We’ll also soon\u00a0release a new music video<\/strong>\u00a0that demonstrates what global harmony can sound like. During our visit to Chicago in July\u00a02024, JYC collaborated\u00a0with\u00a0Uniting Voices Chicago<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to create and record an original song titled\u00a0\u201cStanding Together.\u201d\u00a0<\/em>This anthem of resilience, hope, and unity captures the shared spirit of our two organizations<\/strong>\u2014each dedicated to empowering young people to raise their voices through music. In the studio, teenagers from Jerusalem and Chicago\u2014representing different races, faiths, and languages\u2014came together to prove that when youth sing together, barriers fade and hope takes the stage.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n We’ll end 2025 with a\u00a0holiday concert celebration for our singers and their families.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Our incredible staff members have expanded the chorus to a record size that reflects the growing power and relevance of our mission, <\/strong>andJYC\u2019s ability to scale and stay united<\/strong> is a powerful statement in itself.
