Through long-term music and dialogue education, we equip Palestinian and Israeli youth to build connection, foster understanding, and transpose conflict. Because if we are to confront the root causes of today\u2019s atrocities, rather than simply chase the headlines, this work is essential.<br><br>In moments of such profound suffering, we search for anchors of hope. For our chorus, that steady force has long been the song:&nbsp;<strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#25a3a3\" class=\"has-inline-color\">\u201cI Need You to Survive.\u201d<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/jerusalemyouthchorus.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-182\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jerusalemyouthchorus.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image.png 600w, https:\/\/jerusalemyouthchorus.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-300x150.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We first sang it with Uniting Voices Chicago a decade ago, and its message\u2014that&nbsp;<strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#25a3a3\" class=\"has-inline-color\">our shared humanity must always come first<\/mark><\/strong>\u2014has only deepened as the world has fallen further and further short of this basic goal.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But we keep singing it, because that vision\u2014that our lives are bound up in one another\u2019s\u2014is not just poetic. It is urgent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our singers know this in their bones because they live it. But we have not been waiting on the sidelines. Quite the contrary.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite everything, this coming year, we are preparing to welcome our&nbsp;<strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#25a3a3\" class=\"has-inline-color\">largest-ever cohort of singers from East and West Jerusalem.<\/mark><\/strong><br><br>With new music and music videos on the horizon, rehearsals beginning next week, and our voices soon to be featured at the first-ever&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/promiseofmusic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">World Congress on the Social Impact of Music in Toronto<\/a>, the 2025\u20132026 season is set to be transformative for singers and audiences alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/promiseofmusic.com\/event\/jerusalem-youth-chorus-hope-rises\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/jerusalemyouthchorus.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/IMG_7670.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-184\" style=\"width:645px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jerusalemyouthchorus.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/IMG_7670.jpeg 600w, https:\/\/jerusalemyouthchorus.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/IMG_7670-300x150.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#25a3a3\" class=\"has-inline-color\">350+ Hours of Hope &amp; Transformation<\/mark><\/strong><br>As peace builder and friend of JYC Maoz Inon \u2014 who lost both his parents on October 7 \u2014 reminds us:&nbsp;<em>\u201cHope is active. It is simple and it is collaborative.
